Sarah Pappalardo
While finishing her M.A. in English at DePaul University, Sarah wrote for a FSBO real estate marketing firm in Chicago. Growing up on the east coast, she fell in love with antique fixer-uppers and waterfront cottages. In adulthood, she developed an interest in the broader market, writing for Redfin, BuyOwner, and a plethora of snarky media sites. She now lives in New York and is editor for Reality on Realty.


Katrina Munsell
According to Katrina Munsell, there are two great addictions in her life—potato chips and the real estate market. Katrina’s obsession with real estate began more than a decade ago, when she relocated from the great state of California to the equally great state of Washington. Over this time, she became heavily involved in more-than-several major home purchases across both states, culminating in a multi-year hunt for the “perfect house.” While experiencing the emotional highs and the oh-so-lows of buying and selling homes, she became inextricably obsessed with “real estate porn” (yes, cliche and slightly freakish wording, I know, but is there a more concise way of describing this??), the continuous stream of new, high tech, online real estate tools, and the constantly changing dynamics of the real estate market. Now, with a background in law, economics, and business development for a Fortune 100 company, Katrina, also formerly a contributing writer to Redfin’s Sweet Digs Seattle, is excited to share and discuss ideas, hot topics, and the real story with you, right here on Reality on Realty!

Pamela Reynolds
Pamela Reynolds is an award-winning journalist specializing in real estate, urban issues and environmental sustainability. Her work has appeared in national magazines, newspapers and on the internet. Formerly an editor and reporter with The Boston Globe, Ms. Reynolds’ interest in urban life, walkability and sustainability has largely been shaped by more than 10 years spent living in Western Europe. She holds a BJ degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (magna cum laude) and is an accomplished professional painter who has exhibited work in galleries in both Europe and the United States.
